Bodyjar are playing there on Friday the 2nd and Saturday the 3rd of August.
And Secondbest are coming back here in August, even though they were last here in May.

Gees, I heard of the frontman getting a bit more attention than the rest of the band, but that's just outta control!
P.S. Isn't the amplifier a bit small for an overseas group like Blackalicious? It doesn't even have a stage barrier.

from what i understand jay kay is the name of the guy who wears the funny hats and cool clothes (the singer guy) and jamiroquai is the name of the group collectively.

Why do they start advertising and selling tickets for an event, when it's about 5 months away?
P.S. This is my 300th post on this board, so far (pats self on back).

I hope you feel proud Mark.
In answer to your question: they think they're so great that their concerts will be total sell outs, so by planning in advance, they can arrange for extra concerts if need be. Alternatively, they suck big time and need to start advertising early if they hope to gain any recognition.

If were someone like Eminem (King of all Train Station Fags) or Nelly (Sell-Out, Sounds Like he's crying while he's rapping Sumpreme). Both of which are nowhere near as talented as Blackalicious. They would get the Entertainment Centre or something like that. I hate Sell-Out Hip Hop!!!!!!!!!! Besides, I don't think anyone will be stage diving at Blacklicious. The Music is so damn Mellow, I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! I can't wait to go!!!!!!!!!!![/glow]

I didn't think Nelly was considered hip-hop. One of the things I absolutely hate the most, though, is homie boybands and popstars.
Metro in freo is the worst venue I've ever been to. For Frenzal Rhomb, and Bodyjar/Unwritten Law it was alright, with less people there, but for Pennywise and Millencolin everyone was packed in like sardines.
Gimmie the grovsenor or the ampifier anyday.
P.S. Show at HQ this weekend, A Change of Face, Negative Reply, All In Deep Shit (AIDS), and two other bands I don't care about.
