"Nihilism". 1. A complete denial of all established authority and institutions. 2. An extreme form scepticism that systematically rejects all values, conventions, and beliefs in existence. 3. A doctrine of destruction for its own sake.
That's such a punk word.

Yea, that's such a punk word. But not bubblegum punk, real punk. And you're saying you don't use that word often and yet, aren't you a "punk"?

Might we say Mark is 'dispossessed'? Either that, or he 'procrastinates' an awful lot!

I mention nihilism now, as I only found out what it really meant not long ago. Looking back, there have been so many situations where it totally summed up what I was trying to say to someone.

Its hard to think of word you haven't used in a while because you haven't used it in a while.
It' like asking some one to remember the last thing they forgot.

I don't think I am game enough to remember the last thing I forgot. Ask someone who asked me to remember something but I failed to...

I think it is safe to say that I have dismissed that word from my vocabulary. If you use it in its true context you get hurt, because (in my opinon), we don't really know what love is. You may say that you love someone, but the next day, you decide you don't because they're opinon's differ slightly to yours, or they paint their nails a colour you don't like. That's not love. Love is something that is unconditional and is imortal. It has no barriers and is accepting of the whole of someone; for the flaws aswell as the positive aspects.
If you're referring to family, I think that is different yet again. You can choose your friends, but you can't choose your family.
And there are other words to use in its place if you're referring to a srtong liking of a particular thing... really, you don't 'love' a particular type of music, food or item of clothing... I might have favourites...
