I don't understand vegetarians, it's unnatural. I have respect for vegans because that's a complete moral battle, those fuckers are harcore. Vegetarians, that's just like fighting animal oppression on a very superficial level. And I don't buy people who claim they don't like meat or the idea of eating meat, how can anyone resist a nice pig pork chop?

I still want to know what a newsgroup is...
Not all people are 'moral vegetarians'; (It is morally wrong to kill an animal just so we can enjoy eating it)... But, I do believe that it is hypocritical for "moral vegetarians" to not be vegans, because the cows that produce the dairy may have been mistreated, and for cows to produce milk they must reproduce, and half of those cows aren't good for milking (bulls) and they are killed, and then there's leather shoes - more dead animals...
If you're a vegetarians just because you dont like the taste of meat - then well, some people don't like carrots.. same deal.
Sometimes I think that veganism is too extreme, but... I suppose if you're going to do something, you do it properly... Vegans are difficult to live with though!!! Cooking wise...

A newsgroup is like a message board, except you use email to post and view your messages.
According to your cousin's website, he got his receipies from a newsgroup for vegan receipies i think, which, in a way, is kinda sad....but if your interested in that kind of thing...

for some reason i can't get in to that web page?? oh well, and campbell, yes it is true, some people have different opinions to you!! if you wanna be a vegan, fine, but only if you do it for the right reasons, and if those reasons are still applicable for the 'regular vego's' then as pia thinks, i too think thats hypocritical. why is it so hard to grasp the fact that some people just don't like the idea of eating meat? the thought of eating something that bleeds - for a start, does not appeal to me. if you actually think about what it is your eating, you'd probably feel sick at the thought of it too!! just for the sake of people's interest, i actually thought about eating a sausage the other day, and about 2 seconds later, after i thought about it a bit harder, i started dry reeching ( i don't know how you spell that) - it could be in my head, but thats enough to stop me from wanting to eat it
sorry, you probably didn't want to hear all that...

Two weeks on a camp in Canberra where everything had milk in it and soy milk was alien meant no more being vegan. Even though I ate eggs anyway. Been meaning to get back into it for ages. Don't have the willpower yet. Although it's alright once you get into it.
