Greetings Ive been thinking, a 2001 leavers reunion party/gathering, would be a cool idea, now that we are getting half way through the year, weve lost contact with some people, and getting together would be a great way to see old school chums and see what they're all up to. Just curious on peoples ideas on this and suggestions for a good time and possible venue for such an event =]

Yea I was thinking of that the other day. Well not exactly that - more like a newsletter put together like the thing in the yearbook - so we can just see what ppl are doing now etc. but meh - im too lazy to organise anything liket hat!>

Would it be the WHOLE year? Or just those deemed worthy by those organising the whole thing? And would anyone be allowed to bring friends, or would it be strictly perth mod class of 2001?
These are all things you may want to consider.
You may want to ask Bonnie for advice/help in organising it, she's dealt with these sort of things before.

Id say open to anyone who was in year 12 last year, and anyone that was... affiliated with us, like some of the current year 12's, and of course people have to bring their other halves

I think that it should be only yr 12s, and maybe some teachers. There should not be any "other halves" or people from other years, even if they are really really hot.

Pia, about the newsletter, i dont know about anyone else but my parents told me that someone from the school rang them to see what i was doing with myself this year and where i was in relation to the future we all chose for graduation. Apparently they were finding out about all the year 12s. did anyone else get a phone call? I think they must be making some sort of record anyway. I think a reunion is a cool idea, but we all still know each other and what we're doing and stuff, i think it should be planned for an annual one. so like in november or december. you could make it a joint christmas party!! anyway, i just said that cos i wanna come. so if you make it then you can all be blessed by my presence. or not. whatever. i've finished now.

Bree, I haven't received and contact from the school yet? But yea... if they are doing that - that would be really cool! A reunion... ahhh - we've left school for not even a year and we're thinking about a reunion. it cracks me up!!! like you read the papers and it's like 15 year reunion... 25 year reunion..... Imagine this: PERTH MODERN SCHOOL CLASS OF 2001 1 year reunion. ok maybe it's just me that finds that funny?!?! ?

It's barely been six months and your tlking about a reunion ?
Not much will have changed, everyone will be just continuing whatever they said they'd be doing and a couple of people have might have dropped out or changed a bit.
