Holy Doodle dangs! Puddle lane! that was........... i am speechless.
ghost writer - the first time i ever saw a modem tea bag!!! inspector gadget! noddy johnson and friends trap door - that still is the best. super ted! count duckula dangermouse hugo and victor raggy dolls gumby mr squiggle rojer ramjet SOOTY! Art Attack - that still blows my mind Thomas the tank engine - hint hint wink wink
AND if anyone can get me a copy of the alias the jester theme song on mp3 or cd, i'll pay them like 10 or 20 bucks!
Man... If i ever go anywhere in life, and i need to pinpoint a major influence in my life, its ABC all the way
the ABC is still just about the only channel i watch, but i feel a bit sorry for the kids of today, watching angela anaconda. Although i saw this cool show with 3d ducks, maybe they have some hope.
At one stage there was a show on the ABC, it was on a 5.30/6.00 time slot, and it started off in high school and it deals with all these blah blah issues that i think is a government requirement these days or something, but anyway. The protagionst spent most of his time chasing this hot broad, getting mixed up in school pranks, drugs. The next series went on to college/uni and he went to film school, the hot broad did modelling and his other female friend did art. At the end of the series as usual the guy ends up with the not so hot broad after she makes him pose nude for a painting, it ended real whacky, in classic broadway style with the boy and art girl waltzing up these big stage stairs, with dancing girls with lots of feathers guiding their way. The Hot broad got naked on the back of salted-peanut stands around london pubs. Does anyone remember this? or remember its name?
i sometimes wonder if the ABC was sending out some signals with these shows, that sent you into some drug induced state, and you only remember watching these weird shows. Eg tea bag, gumby, PUDDLE LANE!!!

OMGOMGOMG!!!! GHOST WRITER!!! That was like my FAV show hey!!!! I also really like Crash Zone... but I didn't watch that when I was little.. I've been watching that over the past few years.... Ship2Shore - good ol' barron production.... Sweat - I think I was like year 6 or something when that came on... that was pretty cool. Noddy scared me! he still does. he's so stiff... What about toys: --- slinkys --- swapping sequins and bead... stickers as well... --- those things that are straight but when you flick them on to your arm they curl around. --- what about those magic writing boards that you can clear... --- Play dough (my fav. was the glitter playdough!) Things you used to do when you were little: --- Write and draw on the wall... --- Prank calls! I was such a little shit. --- Play dress ups. I was ALWAYS the princess!! hehehe --- Play teachers. --- Make up dance... --- Hand clapping game things

thi might sound totally wierd but degrassi really really scared me! i dont know if it was the lighting or the clothes or what? but it used to freak me out heaps! eliza - i LOVED trolls... i have like 30 of them.. and they are tied together with string around their necks (which seems a bit mean) but hey, they're TROLLS! I have one with purple hair and a yellow and orange boday and when you press his belly button he talks! That's my fav. one! What about gak - remember that commerical "how rude"... Oh and that reminds me -- FULL HOUSE!!! That was the best show hey!!! Oh and Step by Step ( i think that's what it was called) and what about that show with Steve Erkle...?

Call me sad, but I loved the first T-Bag series and I loved Puddle Lane!!! The smurfs were funny!! Man, the ABC appears to be a milestone in just about everyone's lives... that and lego!
Steve Erkle was in "Family Matters" Full House was cool as was Step By Step (on the very few occasions I watched them)

At my 2nd primary school, it was really cool to wear your tracksuit pants and your sports skirt over the top...
Hair?
Pigtails - i was really into pigtails! a really high pony with an "i dream of jeanie" look...

Yes! As sad as it is, the sports skirt over the trackies were the way to go... And the brightly coloured bike shorts under the skirt... Don't forget those!! At sport carnivals, we used to just wear our sport shirt and blumers... Thinking we were hot shit... when really we were just a bunch of flabby bums...
I used to have really long hair, that i would have in a pony tail that was then plaited... I hated piggy tails. How much did they hurt your head!!
And how good were The Ferrals!!

Why do elephants have Big ears? Cause Noddy won't pay his ransom!!!
I grew up on ABC because there was nothing on the other channels, except soaps.
Gak reminded me of "You Can't Do That On Television". That was funny, but weird. I never really knew quite what they were on about, being 5 at the time, but they had Alanis Morrisette on it when she was 12.
I remember meeting the Ship to Shore girl from Mt Lawley at leavers.
I think I started watching Fast Forward too young, leaving me with a perverted sense of humour.

The Carebears was my first movie. I was freaked out big time, we had to leave early because they made me cry.
