I was babysitting and we played with Lego for hours. Lego is the best ever, I still played with it after the kids went to bed.
I love Lego

Lego is like the only toy i ever played with. Except during the dino rider phase.
It still is the only non-computer related toy i still play with i think.
Ghostbusters. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Dino-Riders Anything ABC - Degrassi Junior high, captain planet, that stupid widget show, and so many awesome shows i can never remember the names of. I grew up on ABC and lego.
Thats the basics of my childhood.

Danger Mouse.
Degrassi High - helping deal with issues Canadian kids encountered in the 80's.
Matchbox cars - they were all filled with sand, from playing with them in the sandpit.
Lego - there's still a box somewhere around my house, I've never gotten around to selling it, or giving it away. I was helping a friend of mine, who's only 5, build his new set, and I nearly took it over completely.
Cubby houses - I built one in my backyard, out of old pallets, and it didn't collapse while anyone was inside, but it blew over a couple of years later, in a storm.

How good was lego!!! In our toy room, we had a whole lego town happening!! Barbies were never my style! I was never allowed to watch other chanels, other than the ABC until I was year 4 or there abouts. I loved Degrassi Junior High, Raggy Dolls, The Sooty Show, Captain Planet, Ghost Writer, Art Attack, Banana's in Pyjamas, Thomas the Tank Engine, Nelly the Elephant, Rug Rats, Wren and Stimpy, Madeline... and I could go on, but I can't remember all the programmes... I think I watched far too much television as a child. Later, when I was allowed to watch commercial TV, I loved The Flinstones, Scooby Doo, Bewitched, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and The Power Rangers. How good was Lego and the ABC!!!

You know the girl that is permanently naked in Not Another Teen Movie, she was a Power Ranger at some stage.

Gumby used to scare me though... Especially the episode when the girl in the blue dress got trapped in that castle... and those blockheads used to go through books or buildings or something. I used to think they would jump out of the TV screen and bash me. I had an over-reactive imagination...

Yeah, some gumby episodes were really scary. They still haunt me to this day. Especially epsidodes where there was no speaking, or just one character, and it went all kinda abstract.

How good were the chipmunks and the sumerai pizza cats! My Dad used to tape Mr Squiggle and Humphrey B Bear for me when I was really little... I think we still have the video around somewhere.
Does anyone remember those wish troll dolls? They had bright pink and blue hair... or green, yellow, orange and lots of other colours... I was brainwashed as a child and truely believed that if you made a wish, that it would really come true. And when I didn't get rollerblades for my birthday, I was crushed... I got them the following year instead!
