Has anyone been watching.
I'm disapointed with 7's limited broadcast, The Olympics is a lot better then A Country Practice.
Anyway, that stupid seagull has jinxed us again, Cooper's leg is only being held together by a couple of fibres.
Has anyone been watching the dream? Man, they are funny.
Anyway...

That opening ceremony was crap, especially the ice skating, and that kid with the lantern pissed me off too.
P.S. Since when have our national colours been red and gold? (As seen in the team uniform)

That kid with the lanten reminded me of Campbell for some very strange reason... Although i can't image Campbell ice skating. Then I may be very wrong. The Canadian couple so should have won!!! They even had good music!! (Love Story theme song: For those of you who haven't read the book or seen the movie, I recommend it. One of Chloe's all-time favourites! A brilliant movie, especially if you want a good cry. And it you didn't understand the whole dramatisation or the costuming...) 'The Dream'... I am thinking channel seven should offer Roy and H.G a perminant spot... they could take the piss out of the news readers or something. Then I s'pose the novalty would soon wear off... They are funny bastards!! I have do agree with Pia, in that 'The Dream' that was broadcast in assocciation for the 2000 Olympics was more entertaining, but I also think that is because it was the first time (that I can recall)...but they're still funny!!

yeh! the [glow=blue,1,1150]ice dream [/glow]rocks! but yeh, i agree the original dream was a bit funnier, probably coz summer sports are easier to do commentary for
what's the deal with curling? how can that even be considered a sport??!! oh well, its still funny to listen to roy and h.g. take the piss out of it

The Ice Dream is so much funnier then the origional dream. The Dream, despite its popularity, wasnt that good for Roy and HG's standards, even that game show they did was probably funnier.
Whats wrong with Curling being a sport? Its more of a sport then lawn bowls and thats about the most popular sport in Australia.

He only won it because one of the other competitors fell over and knocked everyone else out, I'm not sure that he really deserves gold.

I think you'll find that the reason one of them fell over was because all the others were pushing each other, the canadian and the american should have been disqualified.
He deserves gold, he was the last one standing, he got over the line first, in the fastest time.

Yeh, it is a bit dodgy the way he won but he still deserves it. He's been in the sport for ages and he had the right tactics, to skate behind the others and pray that some of them will stack it...and they did, so he WON! ;D
