yeh i thought she was a baptist. she doesn't act like one. i mean everyone has the right to be sexy but i think she's stepped over the line there. i guess thats the only way she can sell her tunes. yellow, what do you like about her & her music?

Face it, she's satan's spawn. It's only now she's discovering her evil powers.

Brit is the shit! She is cool - I don't care what ya all say; I saw that "No Place Like Home" concert on TV - and ok her vocals were a bit Mmm.... But what I loved is the package that she presents : she has cool costumes, great dances and dancers, cool presentation/representation...
I saw some other thing on her on Foxtel, and it showed a clip of her from when she was like 10 on starseach, and she had an amazingly strong voice - she was just belting out this song - it was so awsome!
anyways... with the whole britney being a hypocrite etc. wasn't the whole vrigin thing brought up in response to those picture on the front of rolling stone mag. or whatever? like cause she was only 16 then?

I saw the video for "fat lip" by that band sum 41, and I'd have to say, just from that, they seem a bit manufactured. Or it may just be me.
Millencolin are coming, hurrah hurrah!

I think there are two sides to Brittney. One is portraying sexuality and feminity. The other portrays this sweet and innocent little girl.
Alot of what comes out of her mouth in interviews and even in some of her songs (I repeat, some) makes sense and can be inspiring to little girls. But if you ask me, they're not her words. They're her managers or publicist. She goes on about how she's no longer a girl, but she is not yet a woman... I wonder where that concept originated from?
On the other hand, some of her songs would have you believe she is in a heavy physical relationship... which goes against most of what she claims to believe in. So what does one believe? And is she a good or a bad influence on little girls?

But I think everyone has multiple sides to their personality... No one can truly fit into a stereotype... Well, I don't think they can!
Brit is like 19 or something now yea? So, although she's 19, at the same time, she still has the experience of being 12,13,14 etc. I know 30 years olds who are still like little kids, and I know 16 year olds who have the life experience and maturity of 25 year olds...? She appeals to a wide audience because of this... Don't you remember "Opps I Did It Again" - the last words in that songs were " Im not that innocent"....
I think this latest CD is aimed at teens (late teens even) though... I think this CD is more from her than her others though.. ? That's just what I think from the subject matter/s in the songs....

Maybe it's time for her to become more political.
