Who's doing what this year?
Matilda Bay? We could make it a tradition 'thing'.

Don't all reply at once! Maybe the question should be rephrased to; Does anyone have any solid plans for Australia Day?

It sucks how you can't take alcohol anywhere on australia day, or even carry it on public transport

One thing i do remember from last Australia Day was the bountiful supply of alcholic beverages.

The mothership will come down from outer space and take you away.

To answer Laurissa's - they throw your ass in the can, and let you cool off overnight, punk.
I guess Matilda Bay is off, thanks to a concerned police force and unreliable public transport, so closer to home might be better - Britannia oval, perhaps.

I thought of Brittania Reserve, but would anyone actualy go, and how much will we see. I know we used to be able ot see stuff, but now? And will families have their little kids around? It would probably be better if you wanted to drink...
Or, everyone could go to the city foreshore, matilda bay or where ever everyone has planned, then come back and party at Britania. By then all the families would have left, everyone would have got a better view of the sky show, not to mention that it is closer to home (for alot of us), keeping Mum and Dad happy. And, you can all drink! Everyone is happy!!
